Les Nuits des Forêts 2024
This festival shines the spotlight on foresters, professionals, artists, scientists and thinkers, and organizes unusual encounters and original, artistic experiences in the woodlands. An annual event where you can share meaningful, immersive moments in the great outdoors!
On Saturday June 10, 2023, Domaine de la Trigalière took part in this national event for the first time. Our activities in our private woodlands are not as well-known as our tourist accommodation, which attracts over 5,000 visitors a year. Our participation in this forest festival is an opportunity to become part of a wider programme with an organization whose values we share, and to tell our story to a local audience.

A look back at a cultural and educational programme
Forestry expert François du Cluzeau led an introductory session on sustainable forest management.
Bruno Cheuvreux, owner of the estate, Jonathan Plassais, arboretum coordinator, and Lucie Girault, nursery coordinator and landscape architect, took visitors on a tour of the Arboretum at La Trigalière. Artistic director Marie Prunier showed the works of Mathieu Bernard Raynaud in the woodlands at La Trigalière. The day ended with an immersive forest therapy experience: an evening forest bathing session led by Antony Moreau.
We take great pride in this event, where raising awareness of the impact of climate change, the multifunctional role of forests and the jobs they provide, sparks conversations with citizens and future initiatives. Awarded Green Key certification in 2023, Domaine de la Trigalière is wholeheartedly pursuing its sustainable commitment by becoming actively involved in the green transition.
