Le Séchoir, (‘The Drying House’) is the largest house on the Domaine. The ground-floor rooms are huge – and the living room is so big you could almost play tennis there. Three large sofas around the fireplace and a superbly equipped kitchen can comfortably accommodate 15 or more guests. A period staircase leads to the first floor where six bedrooms, all in a row, offer cosiness and luxury. Empire-style chest of drawers, roll-top desk, canopied beds. In short, a little treasure trove worthy of the Empress Joséphine herself.
Le Séchoir was once a laundry in which the linen from the house was dried, a process helped by the original lift and pulley system. This large convivial house at the edge of the woods and the lakes is within shooting distance of the 3D archery grounds and fitness trail
